I was initially worried about the place because we had a difficult time finding places that stay open after 10pm, but honestly we had a wonderful time celebrating here. Absolutely recommend this place if your looking for Italian food in Toronto. The gods does have excessive garlic, like most places. There’s a good variety of dishes to choose from that are actually Italian plates rather than just salmon and chicken. Good wine selection and desserts. Friendly waiters, some speak Italian too. Other than the food the whole restaurant was decorated with may paintings and statues. Nice spacious patio as well. Reasonable pricing. Highly recommended for celebration and if you want a restaurant close to authentic food while in Toronto.

Cozy restaurant. Friendly staff. I was dinning alone but still felt so welcomed and taken care of. Had a really good time. The mushroom pasta is DEVINE. I thought I like the mushroom pasta at Gusto, but this one was on a whole other level! Will come back again for sure!

A hidden gem in my opinion in the heart of Yorkville. A delicious, well priced, beautifully decorated restaurant that has been around for 40 years. Their food is incredible especially the lamb shank, the wines were really divine, we had 4 different bottles, and the service was impecable. We could not have asked for a better dinner. As for pastas their gnocchi is a sight to see, the seafood pasta was delicious as well and to finish off a Tiramisu, that even though every Italian place has one, not many were this good.

Not sure where to start with my review for this hidden gem in Toronto. My son was looking through Google to find an Italian restaurant near us and he picked out this place based on their ratings. What an amazing choice. For the first time in awhile I had nothing to complain about and every single item we ordered was WOW. The bread is so fresh crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. We ordered a margarita pizza to share, gnocchi, linguini shrimp Alfredo, pasta with blush sauce, shrimp and mushroom, and pasta with seafood. Everything was beyond delicious and the service was amazing as well. I will definitely be back and will recommend it to all our friends. Hats off to the chef and kitchen staff as well.

We were welcomed warmly and there was a nice atmosphere to the restaurant. We ordered a bottle of Cianti Classico and it was excellent (80) it was devine with all the dishes. We started with the classic Brushetta, a ceasar salad and Mussels in a Tomato sauce, all were nice but the Mussels in the Tomato sauce was splendid, we mopped it up with the house bread. The main courses arrived promptly, I had the Spaghetti with Chicken and Prawns, delightful sauce again, my dining companions had the Mushroom Gnocchi and the Orecchiette pasta with Italian sausage, all were scrumptious. We finished, although full already, with a Tartufo and a Tiramisu, it was my birthday and they even put a candle on it This Tiramisu was so soft and creamy, a sensation on the tongue and it was too my taste as it was not too heavy with Marsala wine, I like it light on the alcohol. I had the house recommended digestive to top it all, we all had a sip, I'm glad I said yes. So all in all a delight, I shall return

The absolute BEST Italian in Toronto. Forget all your fancy places with who claim they know how to cook. Once you try the food here, you'll never go back. I'm a Google level 7 reviewer. I've been to hundreds of restaurants all over the world and reviewed quite a bit. I've had Italian food in Italy and was impressed by some places, disappointed by some. This is no gimmick, authentic, proper Italian food. Very strong basics, and very consistent because the chef's and the staff's been here for decades. Nobody leaves. They are the same people doing the same things for many many years. Just come and try. You'll see what I mean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
